Catching Up and Synchronicity

One can’t go away for five days, then return and just take up where one left off, it seems. Life moves on while you’re gone, the “in-tray” gets higher and then you have to spend several days playing catch-up. So fret not, o blogger-philes, all is well and I have returned!

I am wondering how often readers experience “synchronicity.” I have been noticing it more and more lately. It simply means “coincidence with a hint of purpose behind it.” Today “Jeremiah,” the prophet par excellence of constructive criticism, has popped up in three different contexts. No – its not me that’s the focus of being deconstructed and rebuilt – but he has been the focal point in a primary school classroom setting, a discussion on youth ministry and he arose again in a spiritual direction setting. Only the first was at my instigation.

Not really retired but reshaped and reshaping. Now a pilgrim at large ready to engage with what each day brings.
