You are right. This is hard to match, let alone beat. Thanks for sharing. The issue doesn’t affect us here, but we have our own issues we like to ignore, and our own ‘cranky Christians’ who (fortunately) won’t let us.
Although not central to the issue, I really liked: ‘Churches let babies in before they have even proven their net benefit to the organisation.’ It’s a stunning statement on grace.
