  1. I need to read the biblical versus attached to catch the full meaning of some of these, and it’s my first time NOT reading the King James version. It was jarring at first, but so much easier! šŸ˜šŸ˜‰šŸ‘šŸ»

    1. I feel your pain and your gain! All my training in exegesis follows the mantra “background and meaning then; background and meaning now.” To dig into instinctive responses via haiku is an inviting and fresh approach for me as I approach my dotage! šŸ™‚ If you are using the Oremus links to the bible references, you will find options for other translations including King James. NRSV is my habitual go to as the reputed most recent universally endorsed scholarly version.
